This trail follows a linear park system from James F. McCurry Victoria Park Arena on Avondale Boulevard north approximately eight kilometres to Manitou Park at Dixie and Bovaird Drive. Information signs are located at the Ellen Mitchell Recreation Centre, Chinguacousy Park and at Victoria Park Arena.
The trail begins at the intersection of lakeshore blvd and Cherry St. From the Toronto side, as you curve around onto Cherry St. at the lights just before the bridge, you'll see a bike path across the street on the other side of Lakeshore Blvd.
Where else in Ontario can you bike along the Niagara Escarpment through extensive forests, alongside 10-metre waterfalls and right up to a reservoir? Halton Parks, that’s where. Best of all, we’re perfect for a half-day, day or even few hours because we’re a lot closer than you think.
This trail is part of the Trans-Canada Trail and runs through the heart of the Dundas Valley Conservation Area. The trail has some self-guided interpretation panels to explain the natural history of the valley. The Dundas Valley is one of the most spectacular and diverse spots along the Niagara Escarpment.
